At Sandcastles we believe that every family and child has the right to access high quality early years provision whatever their needs and disabilities. We are committed to create an Ethos in which everyone is treated with equal importance, feels valued and welcome.
As well as having a wealth of experience in specialist support for a wide range of needs, Sandcastle staff are highly qualified. One member of staff uses a wheelchair, one member of staff is a mum of two children on the Autistic Spectrum, two members of staff have a recognised SENCO qualification and all staff have attended specialist SEND workshops. However, as every child we meet is unique, we ensure that work closely with the child, family and relevant outside agencies to keep us up to date with the information required to give the child the very best support and care.
As a setting, Sandcastles has been used as a case study for excellent inclusive practice by the Family and Childcare Trust. Videos of the setting are used as a resource for parents, training other settings and Local Authorities.
